Drouto Bharat operates as a multi-category e-commerce marketplace. Our core mission is to empower both small local sellers and large enterprise merchants by connecting them with customers. Acting as an intermediary service provider, our responsibility is to facilitate seamless transactions and deliver orders directly to customers.

1. Information We Collect
To operate our multi-vendor marketplace and connect sellers with buyers, we collect specific information based on your platform interactions:
A. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
We collect personal information when you register or place an order with listed sellers across our product categories:
Fresh Fruits & Packaged Food Delivery: Fresh fruits, prepared meals from partner restaurants, packaged snacks, and grocery items sold by local merchants.
Daily Essentials & Groceries: Kitchen staples, food items, and daily necessity supplies.
Infant & Baby Food (0+ Months Onwards): Baby formula, nutritional products, and baby care essentials.
Men's & Women's Fashion: Apparel, footwear, personal wear, and lifestyle products.
Cosmetics & Imitation Jewelry: Skincare products, makeup, beauty items, and fashion imitation jewelry.
Gift Items & Novelties: Gifts, greeting products, customized items, and festive supplies.

B. Location Information (Precise & Approximate Location)
Real-Time GPS Location: We collect precise location data from your mobile device while the app is in use (foreground) and, where necessary for active delivery tracking, in the background.
Purpose: Real-time location data is collected strictly to connect you with nearby local sellers and restaurants, assign delivery partners, calculate shipping fees, and facilitate accurate order fulfillment.
C. Device & Technical Information
Device model, operating system version, unique device identifier (ID), IP address, app installation data, and crash log statistics.
D. Camera, Photos & Storage Access
Permission is requested only when you voluntarily upload photos to the app, such as attaching images for customer support disputes or setting profile pictures.
E. Transaction & Financial Information
Order history, payment method selection, and transaction status.
Payment Card/Banking Data: All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay). Drouto Bharat DOES NOT store your sensitive credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or Net Banking credentials on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information (Intermediary Facilitation)
As an intermediary platform facilitating trades between independent sellers and buyers, we use your information to:
Account Management: Register, authenticate, and maintain user and merchant accounts.
Order Fulfillment: Enable sellers to process orders across all retail categories and assign delivery partners to pick up and deliver orders to your doorstep.
Communication: Send order updates, OTP verifications, and customer support responses.
Marketplace Safety: Verify merchant listings to prevent fraudulent activities.
Legal Compliance: Prevent illegal transactions, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and comply with Indian legal regulations.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal data. To fulfill our role as a marketplace facilitator, data is shared exclusively with necessary service partners:
Merchants & Sellers (Small & Large Businesses): Customer delivery names, addresses, and order details are shared strictly to pack and fulfill your purchase.
Delivery Partners: Location and recipient contact details are shared to complete doorstep physical deliveries.
Payment Gateway Providers: Authorized payment processing platforms (e.g., Razorpay).
Infrastructure & Analytics: Google Cloud, Firebase Analytics, and Google Maps API for real-time navigation.
Law Enforcement Authorities: Disclosed only when mandated by court orders or Indian government regulatory bodies to investigate fraud or illegal activities.
4. Data Protection & Security

5. Data Deletion & User Rights (Google Play Compliance)
Right to Access & Correction: You may view or update your profile details anytime inside the app settings.
Account & Data Deletion: You can request account deletion directly within the Drouto Bharat app (Account Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing support@droutoindia.com. Personal data will be permanently removed from active databases within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
